Justin and I toured the Bay Area from Los Gatos, Saratoga, Palo Alto, Marin, Pleasanton, San Francisco to Fremont! The weather was absolutely AMAZING! Living so close to the beach it is usually overcast but I absolutely appreciated the hotter humid the weekend we spent in the Bay!
We spent one night at Hotel Los Gatos.
My husband and I really enjoy spending quality time together and sometimes small getaways mean so much to us! February we went to Palm Spring, March/April San Diego and visited where Justin proposed to me and April we visited the Bay are and family! Little trips allows us as a couple to focus on just one and have quality time! My husband Justin has a new advice channel and shares advice on how to keep the spark alive in a relationship. The hotel boutique hotel was beautiful!
My hair was long and dull, hubby googled up a hair salon that was walking distance from the hotel and off we went!

I wasn't planning to cut my hair but my hair looked terrible before filming and I needed a new look. I am still learning how to style my side swept bangs but I love the way my haircut and styling turned out!

Yellow is one of my favorite color and I am drawn to all things yellow! I love that this Dolce Vita dress was an appropriate length for me to wear without heels or wedges. I wore flats and had happy feet all day!

While staying at hotel Los Gatos we had dinner at Dio Dekka and it was my first time trying octopus, it was delicious and perfectly tender! We could not leave without trying the food there because it is the only Greek restaurant that has been awarded with a Michelin Star! Yes friend it is THAT AMAZINGLY delicious, a must TRY! I had scallops on a bed of quinoi and hubby had lamb shank.
The best on the menu is definitely the octopus appetizer! I would love to go back with my parents in law David and Susan!

My parents in laws, Justin and I visited Alcatraz! There was an audio tour and I learned so much! The audio was so informative and well done!
Interesting fact: Did you know chambray was their uniform shirt? I found that quite interesting because chambray is a trend at the moment!
Please excuse my lack of smile. I took a Dramamine before the boat ride to Alcatraz and it makes me incredibly drowsy! This is the amazingly gorgeous view at Alcatraz.
The prisoners who stayed at Alcatraz could look at San Francisco and see everything they were missing, their freedom was only a hundred feet away!
I would have loved to share pictures of my father in law, mother in law and their precious cat Pickles, but I didn't ask for permission and respect their privacy.
