My Skincare Routine for Acne Prone Skin

I have had terrible acne prone skin for as long as I can remember.
It's not fun having adult acne.  I thought it would be all over after my teen years but I suppose not.   I broke out all throughout my college years and still after all these years I'm still breaking out. My mother is in her late 40s and she occasionally has a pimple here and there, which goes to show my acne problems may not go away anytime soon.
Here's how I've been maintaining my acne prone skin.  I had large cystic acne for a while but it's looking better than ever!  I still have scarring and break outs before that "time of the month" but it's not as severe as before!

I was sent Michael Todd Organics products months ago and I wasn't really expecting it to do much to my skin but it has really improved my skin and I'm honestly pleasantly surprised!  Having bad skin for as long as I can remember I tend to become a skeptic with new skincare products but after trying Michael Todd products I guess all it takes is trying the right skincare products suitable for your skin type.

I recommend the Michael Todd Blue Green Algae Antibacterial toner for acne prone skin.  It will remove any remaining makeup you might have left even after washing your face and I find it helps prevent acne or future breakouts.  The bottle is $18 and lasts for months!

  2. I have acne but I like liquid foundation more. I've been using powders because I hear that they help dry the skin. So do you know of any liquid foundation that I could buy at a drug store that doesn't clog pores and stuff? And would it even effect acne, also, for extra cover up, could I use the liquid foundation and the powder too or would that be too much? Also if you know of one, where could I buy it, what's the brand, and how much does it cost? Thanks! acne controlled
