I am thankful for my heritage. When I was younger I always wanted to fit in and blend with the crowd. Only in high school did I start to realize that it is okay to be different. In fact, it's amazing to be unique and not like everyone else. Having a diffent culture, tradition, food is a good thing. It makes for plenty of conversation and tasty treats to share with friends.

I'm thankful for my finance who made all the differences in my life!!!
I always say this every year, but this year I have gained a whole new level of thankfulness to my family. My uncle passed away suddenly from a heart attack the week before Thanksgiving, all of us were shocked beyond words, since the sad news was totally unexpected. All of us from all over the United States flew in to the East Coast to help my cousin and my aunt out, and to help arrange his funeral. That weekend, I really felt the love and the closeness of my family, and make me realize how thankful I am to have them...now that we have lost one dear member of the family, we are tighter than ever while we grief, and celebrated thanksgiving without my uncle, but he's forever in our hearts!

I am thankful for my parents. They have worked and helped me out tremendously throughout my college career, and without them I wouldn't be where I am today. They are my motivation to finish college, and I hope that I will one day, be able to provide and give back to them for all they have done for me.

I am thankful for everyday I get to spend with my husband and my 2 wonderful kids JB & Jozelin. They are the reason I start and end my days and can't wait for tomorrow.
