Homemade Pumpkin Facial Mask for all Skin Types

Since I'm at work during the day I make sure to record one of my favorite tv shows, The Doctors. I love the show because I learn so much about health and how to better care for myself and others.  I saw a fun do it yourself homemade pumpkin facial mask and knew I had to try it! Not only is it good for your skin, it tastes quite delicious!

Pumkins have enzymes that exfoliate your face without harsh scrubbing!  It is also high in Vitamin A and Vitamin C.

Here is my YouTube video, I hope you enjoy!

Pumpkin Facial Mask Ingredients & Directions:
Combine these ingredients in a bowl:
2 teaspoons cooked or canned pumpkin
½ teaspoon honey
¼ tablespoon milk or soymilk

Mix the contents in the bowl.
Wash your face.
Apply the pumpkin mask for 10-15 minutes.
Wash away the pumpkin facial mask with your favorite cleanser.
Apply moisturizer.

Use the rest of your canned pumpkin to make pumpkin pie! I have a YouTube video on an easy pumpkin pie recipe here.
Earlier today Justin and I actually went to a pumpkin patch and picked out two pumpkins for carving. :)
We were pretty lucky!  We made it there and left before it started to rain heavily!!!  Southern California weather is all sorts of weird lately!

Pumpkins galore!

I finally wore my pink Forever21 cardigan. :)  It's extremely comfortable, but the arms are a bit too long.
I also wore a white ruffle scarf sent to me from eVanity
My jeans are Allison Izu Panio Lo.  I have reviewed these jeans, please find  my blog review here and YouTube review here
Justin, my fiance' picked out a big pumpkin to carve.
Have any of you carved your Halloween pumpkins yet?
Enjoy your homemade pumpkin facial mask!  It's okay if you lick your fingers after applying your mask, I won't tell!  LOL!

Yay you got your pumpkins April! You two look so adorable holding the pumpkins :) Seeing the pumpkin patch reminds me how I used to go with my family every year to a pumpking festival in a quaint town called Half Moon Bay..

I like the pink sweater~ so soft and feminine looking. It looks much better on you than on the F21 model!

I've never went pumpkin picking before... you two are the cutest couple everrrr and I love that pink cardigan! I saw the gray one earlier and I agree, the sleeves are a bit long. I'm still unsure to get it or not at the moment. lol.

This is such a great idea! Especially now that almost everyone is buying pumpkins for halloween! They can just recycle their pumpkin by making this mask :)

ooo pumpkin mask, gotta try this cause it sounds so easy! I've never carved a pumpkin before... wouldn't even know where to start lol but I sure do love eating them.

Awesome idea! You should try adding in sugar to make it extra exfoliating... of course that wouldn't really make it a mask but an exfoliating scrub. Just an idea! =)

Mint: Thank you so much for reading!

Kirstyb: You are very welcome!

Iyah: Soo true, you just need a bit of leftover pumpkin. :)

Christine: You are very welcome!

Elle: I hope you enjoy the mask!

Superdupermolly: Definitely sugar would be a GREAT scrub!

Such a very inspiring post, April! I can see that you're enjoying such pumpkin patch with Justin. It's me who loves to try natural skin care these days. However, I envy my sister, Vanessa, so much. She tried to visit the best dermatologist (Boca Raton, FL area service provider) for a specialized facial treatment. Her other option includes the reliable Delray Beach Botox treatment for a younger-looking face. I just heard that she has the most younger-looking skin among our friends.

Thanks for sharing! By the way, you look good in that pink sweater.
